Cardinals took game 2 of the series 4-2 to clinch with a day to spare. Leahy turned in 6.0 IP / 5 H / 1 ER / 3 BB / 2 K to set the tone, and the bullpen line of Graceffo, Bruihl, and Soriano covered the final three -- Caglianone's solo HR off Soriano in the 9th was the only late damage. The offense was top-heavy production: Burleson's sacrifice fly in the 1st and RBI single in the 8th drove in two; the 5th-inning rally came from Saggese scoring on a Scott fielder's choice and Church coming home on Winn's sacrifice fly. Church went 2-for-3 and Scott 2-for-3 from the bottom of the order.
